Banana Chips Recipe

Banana chips is a popular delicious snacks, especially in Kerala. These are rich in saturated fat. This is great snack that goes well with almost all pre-dinner drinks. Let’s learn how to make this easy homemade banana chips.

Ingredients Required for Preparing Banana Chips

  • Banana – 2
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 Tsp
  • Cumin Seeds Powder – 1 Tsp
  • Salt – As per taste
  • Cooking Oil – As required

Method for Preparing Banana Chips

  1. Peel the skin off the Bananas and slice them into the shape of chips
  2. Take a frying pan and heat the cooking oil in it
  3. Now fry these sliced banana pieces by dropping the pieces one by one
  4. Remove the fried banana pieces into a plate with steel skimmer.
  5. Once all the banana pieces are fried and taken into plate, fry them once again all together.
  6. Now remove these pieces from the oil and spread them on a bigger plate.
  7. Immediately pour red chilly powder, cumin seeds powder, and salt on the fried banana pieces and mix well.
  8. Once they get cooled, take them into a separate plate and serve them.
  9. Your chips are ready to eat.
